They have a good section on Coal Mines which can be found above. The Coal Authority also has a useful interactive map

It aims to provide information on the following:

• finding out if a property is affected by coal mining
• checking if your site is in a high-risk area
• checking for coal and mine entries on or near the surface

However, it gives a useful indication of where mine were and areas which have been worked
